It can be Siddheshwar Temple : An important and famous temple at Alibag situated on a hillock. Nagaon and Akshi Beach (9 Km) : The Nagaon and Akshi beaches, secluded and lined with casurina forests are enchanting places for a day's outing from Alibag.
Excursions Kihim (11 Km : Kihim is an exclusive beach laced with lush coconut trees. Kankeshwar Temple (12.5 Km) : An ancient temple of Lord Shiva at a height of 1250 ft with about 650 steps leading to the temple. Chaul (16 Km) : Chaul, in Raigad District, was the capital of the Shalihar dynasty and has forts and monuments belonging to the Portuguese, Moghul and Maratha periods. Revdanda(19 Km) : A small quiet beach with ruins of the Agarkot fort and Salav Birla Mandir. Mandwa (20 Km) : Mandwa, situated north of Alibag, is an unspoilt beach. Karnala Bird Sanctuary : On the Mumbai-Pune Highway, 80 Km from Alibag & 12 km from Panvel, Karnala is a birdwatchers paradise offering a sight of variety of bird species. About 150 species of birds have been spotted here, 30 of which are migratory.
